Liz Nehdi designs offer a spectacular expression of bold, invigorating colours, hypnotic patterns and gestural, painterly prints that are layered with meaning. These are complemented by the finest craftsmanship and luxurious textiles to create playful, distinctive and soulful accessories with an artistic heritage. Our brand aims to introduce a way of life that celebrates fun, creative expression, optimism, and the beautiful complexities of the global village in which we all live. Liz Nehdi Studio was founded in 2014 by Liz & Karim Morgan Nehdi.

The inaugural Spring/Summer 2015 collection of scarves and pocket squares draws from Liz’s inspirations as a painter, interpreting and distilling creative traditions from around the globe – from abstract expressionism, art naïf and aboriginal dot paintings to graffiti, Berber patterns, and psychedelia.

ABOUT LIZ NEHDI

Liz Nehdi is an American artist and designer based in London. She was born near Washington DC in 1982 and grew up in Bethesda MD. She studied at Miss Porter's School (USA), Dartmouth College (USA) and the University of the Arts London (UK) - Chelsea College of Art & Design and Central Saint Martins - and holds received a BA in Studio Art with Honors and an MA in Textile Design with Distinction.

Liz travels extensively and has lived in the United States, United Kingdom, France and Singapore.

MAIN DUTIES

Working with the founder, the Freelance Wholesales Representative will strategically position and distribute the brand through the very best department stores and opinion-forming independent retailers. The sales agent will be responsible for creating relationships with buyers and facilitating sales with new wholesales clients. Specific duties include managing client orders, organizing meetings, showing samples, handling client inquiries, investigating any issues with products, and organizing events that showcase new products.

Liz Nehdi Studio brings a fresh voice to women’s apparel, providing collectors with a way of bringing art with them on holiday, and a means of finding the joy + inspiration of travel no matter where they are.

Our collection of versatile kimonos, scarves and beach coverups is imbued with the spirit of eternal summers and is inspired by our favourite coastal destinations around the world, from the beaches of Palm Beach and Thailand, to the coves of Antigua and Martha’s Vineyard, to the brilliant sun of the Cote d’Azur.

Our limited edition, luxurious + wearable artworks are lovingly crafted in revered European ateliers and have been featured in the likes of Glamour UK, Tatler and Hamptons magazine.

  • Language skills other than English a plus
  • Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office package

HOURS / LOCATION

  • Part time - flexible hours
  • London, New York City or Los Angeles. Other locations may be considered
